Hobbies
Don't get me started - I'm a massive train nerd first and forement, specifically loving older style electric locomotives (such as the LNER EM1, the NS 1200 etc), however I do appreciate other types of locomotives too! As a result of this, a lot of my hobbies have something to do with trains.
I'm a photographer who specialises in train photography and animal photography - you can see some of my photography in the aptly named Photography section of this website :3
In the past, I've done large amounts of programming and would consider myself fairly skilled with systems languages. Don't try to get me to do web work though, I suck at that. As such I've contributed scripts to traewelling - specifically one that cleans up the data in the "Namtang" GTFS feed, which is the feed published by the Thai Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning. Among other FOSS contributions
I'm also a big Train Simulator addict (who could've seen that coming), with the main simulator I play being Train Simulator Classic (previously known as Railworks). At the time of writing I've been messing with a lot of dutch content, making scenarios based on 1970s-1990s dutch timetables and interesting movements I find photos of now and again.
